Whatson2day.co.uk visited the town of Horley in Surrey on the 25th April and joined in with their fantastic celebrations. There was an array of stalls and a magnificent parade which featured St George himself, Britannia, Lady Gadyver and many other medieval characters. We would like to thank all those who came over to our stall for a chat and took part in our prize draw to win an i-Pod Shuffle. The lucky winner of the i–Pod was Lucy Walker!! Organised by Horley Chamber of Commerce it was a fantastic and successful day. Classic Motorbikes at Heage Windmill, By very popular request the Classic Motor Bikes Group will once again be visiting Heage Windmill. Up to forty of these gleaming, lovingly restored icons of the ‘40’ onwards, will be on display at the windmill, giving everyone great photo opportunities, besides of course visiting the windmill itself. Spring Festival, Durham, 9th May This annual event will offer a wide range of food, crafts and entertainment, including beaded jewellery, pottery, plants, old fashioned sweets, hand crafted cards and garden supplies. All of this will be complemented by classic cars, wood carving and a demonstration of dry stone walling. 
Keswick Mountain Festival, Cumbria, 13th May — 17th May. Keswick Mountain Festival is a 5 day event which showcases all the adventurous activities that you can do in and around Keswick. Choose from climbing, walking, mountain biking, kayaking and much more, also don't miss the inspirational talks by sporting and mountaineering heroes at the Theatre by the Lake. The Whatson2day.co.uk team will be sponsoring some of the events at this festival and also taking part in some of the fantastic events on offer! Cystic Fibrosis 10k Run, Yorkshire, 17th May Join the Cystic Fibrosis Trust raising funds at their Yorkshire 10k run and 2k fun run set in the beautiful grounds of the Newby Hall estate. Admission in to the gardens and children's adventure gardens is also included. Future Events Gardening Scotland, Lothian, 29th May There are lots of wonderful gardens planned for Gardening Scotland 2009 and this year’s Show also promises to be a plant-lovers’ paradise, with many new nurseries and growers set to take part.
