The Great Fridge Adventure

Over the past couple of months you may have noticed the Great Fridge Adventure being advertised in our latest news feature. Well on the 23rd July, 17 year old Marcus and James began their epic journey from John O Groates, Scotland to Lands End in Cornwall. They have a total of 1100 miles to walk but they haven’t made it easy for themselves, they will both be taking a fridge!!

This Bizarre but exciting challenge is all in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society so please, please visit their website www.thegreatfridgeadventure.co.uk to show your support and donate generously to their charity and help them reach their target of £5,000. We hope to bring you updates about Marcus and James and their journey over the next five months.

A fantastic day out and a history lesson all in one! Be on the lookout for some of the most famous people to have crossed Kent's path, such as Pocahontas, Ann Boleyn, Charles Dickens and many more.

Steam Sundays, North Yorkshire.
